When someone has been around the sport of fishing for a long time they tend to appreciate the special talents of others who love the sport as much as they do. To say that Don Moorhead's rods are a work of art would be as much an understatement as to say that Lefty Kreh and Flip Pallot are fairly experienced. Our friends have Don's rods, we were given one as a gift, and when our younger son John graduated from the University of Virginia this spring, we wanted to give him something very special as recognition of his achievement, so what better gift could parents present a son than one of Don Moorhead's rods? You should have seen the look on his face. It was, as they say, priceless.
